The Ione, California castle opened in 1894 as the Preston School of Industry to rehabilitate male juvenile offenders. It was vacated between 1960-2001 then purchased for restoration.
Featured on Ghost Hunters and Ghost Adventures (see the entire episode below!), this truly haunted historic landmark hosts paranormal conferences, overnight ghost tours, wine tastings, photography events, and murder mystery dinners in addition to their Halloween haunted house.
